Pinch Coach

Pinch Coach is a baseball hitting development app for parents, guardians, youth coaches and players. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Accounts are created and managed by a parent, legal guardian or coach. We collect account details you provide: first and last name, email, password (stored securely by our sign-in provider, never visible to us), account type and an optional phone number.
For each player you add, you may provide a name, birthday, position, batting side, experience level, team, league, height, weight, goals and current challenges. Only fill in what you are comfortable sharing; most fields are optional.
You may record or upload swing videos from the side, front and back. Videos are stored in private storage that is not publicly accessible. They are shown only to your signed-in account and to authorized Pinch Coach coaches through time-limited links.
We do not modify or re-encode your original videos. Drawings and notes you add in the Video Analysis Studio are stored separately.
To produce an AI swing report, still frames are taken from your videos and sent to an AI model provider for analysis. The report is an instructional estimate, may be incomplete or inaccurate, and is not a medical evaluation or a guarantee of athletic performance.
Authorized Pinch Coach coaches can view submitted videos, the AI report and player details in order to write feedback, grades, drill recommendations and training plans. Draft reviews and private coach notes are not visible to families until a review is published.
We use service providers to run the app, including hosting, database and file storage, sign-in (including Google sign-in if you choose it), email delivery and AI analysis. They process information only as needed to provide those services to us. We do not sell personal information.
We use access controls so families can only see their own players and swings, and coach drafts remain private. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We keep account, player and swing information while your account is active or as needed to provide the service, and delete or de-identify it after a verified deletion request, except where we must keep certain records to meet legal obligations.
Before swing videos of a minor are submitted, a parent or legal guardian must authorize Pinch Coach to receive, store, process and review them for coaching purposes. See the Parent/Guardian Authorization for details.
The coaching authorization does not allow us to use a player's identifiable videos, image, voice, name or training results in public advertising or promotional materials. Any such use requires a separate, optional consent that you can decline or withdraw at any time without affecting coaching services.
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your or your player's information, and withdraw consent for future processing, by emailing pinchcoachbaseball@gmail.com. We may need to verify that you are the account holder or the player's parent or guardian. Withdrawing consent may mean we can no longer provide analysis or reviews for that player.
Pinch Coach is intended to be used by parents, guardians and coaches. We do not knowingly allow children under 13 to create their own accounts or provide personal information without verifiable parental consent, consistent with the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). If you believe a child has provided information without consent, contact us and we will review and delete it as appropriate.
We may update this policy. When we make material changes, we will update the date on this page and, where appropriate, notify account holders.
